Princess of Swords Today's Card

Victory after an inner conflict of the soul.
I like that the Ancestral Path Tarot has a Princess.  The suit of swords in this deck is represented by the Asian culture. The sword can be used as a tool or a weapon.
Right now I feel like I'm at war with my health and learning to cope with fears that becoming older bring to the surface. How much of our own pain do we create? How do we heal ourselves? How do we enjoy our blessings even when we are in chronic pain? How do we appreciate what we already have? So many hard lessons to learn.

Daily Card Nine of Staves

The card I drew today was the Nine of Staves (Wands).  A card representing hard physical labor. And the universe telling me I need to give it a rest already because I'm exhausting myself with worrying about my health. Nine is the number of completion, so hopefully I'll have this negative energy out of my life and I'll start feeling better soon. The ironic part of it all is since I've had trouble with my hands, I've been avoiding physical labor like the plague. So I guess I'll continue to take a rest from physical labor.

The Moon's A Harsh Mistress

I fell in love with this song when Celtic Woman sang it, but I can't find a version of that on line yet, but this version is wonderful as well.

My Life as a Tarot Reader

I've been reading tarot cards since about 1985. Eventually I started relying more on Intuitive Tarot and Clairvoyance and Mediumship. In the process of trying to master tarot I collected over 70 decks. Whenever I got hired as a psychic reader, I'd reward myself by buying another deck or deck and book set. So of course I got to the point where I didn't need to buy anymore and have tried several times to make my own deck.

Currently I've been using the Ancestral Path Tarot. I'd love to find the book that goes with it, since it's a non-traditional deck. So if any of you has a duplicate copy you wouldn't mind parting with, do let me know.

I'm also a Cht (Certified Hypnotherapist) and use that for past life regressions. I can't believe I'm just now getting around to starting a tarot blog.

For five years I worked as a reader at the Learning Light Foundation in Anaheim. The foundation has been around for over 40 years. I enjoyed my time there but prefer to do readings in person by appointment or over the Internet. It's more green that way. No driving involved.

Tarot is not always literal but can be. The day my jaw started acting up, I got this card in the Kharma position of a woman tenderly touching her jaw. I've always called this the 'worry wart' card.
